Where did "moxie" come from?
dictionary.com. yes it did. i was toying around with business names and looked at the thesaurus and found moxie. i've got moxie, heck, everyone has a little or more moxie, you just need to tap into it.
What does moxie mean?
vigor. verve. pep. courage and aggressiveness. nerve. skill. know-how. i got me some of that.
Where do your ideas come from? How does your brain work?
the world is quite, quite interesting and everything (and everyone) is an inspiration in some form or another. i compose things in my head nearly constantly. i have stopped trying to shut it off and have learned to enjoy the compositions and try to jot down the ones that i know i would love to try to make real. most of this constant creating comes from being, and thinking like, a photographer. almost everything, (really) i analyze as if i had a camera in hand. what would make this a great shot. again, i long since stopped trying to shut it off.
What's your style of art moxie?
depending on the day, it could be any one or combination of the following: smalltown, eccentric, quirky, girly, whimsical, soulful, chic, rough, grungy, simple, elegant, complex...if i can ever put it into a sentence or two, i will pass it along to you.
Why do you write (type) in all low caps a lot of the time?
because i like to be the opposite of all caps. all caps is yelling and i dislike yelling. i strive to be steady eddy, even though it is a lofty goal. I do know how to write correctly, but, this is one way to express myself, it's similar to the girls that always make the dot on the i a heart or circle. similar but not the same.
Do you accept Pay Pal? How about Credit Card?
i accept both. credit cards have to be payed through pay pal though. don't be afraid. it's free to have an account and it's very secure. i also accept check but will have to let it clear the bank before i send you your bit of moxie.
How long will my order take?
greeting cards are usually shipped via USPS within 2 days of receiving payment. Custom orders and framed art and/or collage may be a tad longer, but we can discuss that.
What other tricks do you have up your sleeve, ms. moxie?
i usually have a bunch of projects going at once. you will have to check back to see what they are! to tell you would spoil the fun of seeing the new item in its finished state now wouldn't it. i may give you some hints or work in progress photos on my blog, so keep tabs on my work there.
i can also make some great homemade ice-cream.
