{ about me and my moxie}

Moxie Photo and Design is the flower child born of my love for photos and my desire to design. My intention is to convey life’s influence on commonplace existence. The allure is to look at the familiar and see it with renewed acclamation. I also strive for my photographs to reflect me at that particular time in my wayward wanderings.

Each piece of art is individually made. Removing myself from the assembly line style guarantees my art will be as unique as the moment I made it. I incorporate vintage and recycled pieces in most all my art work. Making the past come alive again in a whole new way.
I have also taking quite a liking to thrift shopping in a variety of venues. I tend to buy pieces that I would put in my own home, not just something that I know I will sell. I want to be able to envision each and every item in my home, therefore, I am excited about it and will hopefully help you see it as your next new {old} piece.

I was born and raised on a farm in Northeast Nebraska. I majored in Graphic Design and Advertising at Wayne State College. After graduation, I lived and worked in Harlan, Iowa for 6 years. I then moved to my current hometown, Seward, Nebraska to be with my husband and complete match, Brent.
